Oh boy, I have taken forever to weigh in on Ricky-gate. But it took me time to put my thoughts together and say things with some back up material.
Let's not forget that as a STH, I've watched Rick DiPietro since he was drafted. I watched him play in Bridgeport, make his debut in the NHL and play for Team USA.
Even before I became a Blog Boxer, I'd have some brief, animated conversations with him at STH events.
So, here's my take on the Islanders decision to stock pile goaltenders and what it may all mean.
