Back to Montreal Monday October 26th

Good Morning New York!





Well, it was a long night, but the Yankees beat the Angels and are the AL Champions giving Arod his first trip to the World Series. I just wish it didn't take until almost midnight to do it.





So yesterday I braved visiting Iceworks wearing my Yankees jacket and Jeter jersey even though I knew there were Red Sox fans there, one in particular, assistant coach Scott Allen. But he, like Garth Snow and Sean Bergenheim indulged me by giving me a few minutes before they headed out to catch their 2:30 pm plane back to Montreal.



Dough Weight didn't make the trip -- again -- as he remains ill. "I don't know what he's got, but he's got SOMETHING." is what one person told me yesterday. Good thing he's not spreading it around.
