If you haven't checked out the Lightpost blog today, please do so. It seems that the Garden City Online News, the place where much of the information regarding the feelings of the RESIDENTS of Garden City is published, has included numerous Letters to the Editor they have received regarding the Lighthouse Project.
Of course there are those that are against it, have questions, or are just misinformed. But also included are those actual residents of Garden City that are in FAVOR of the project being done as quickly as possible.
If you are a Garden City resident, if you are a Town of Hempstead resident, if you are simply emotionally involved with this project; you too should let the Garden City News know. You can write them at editor@ gcnews.com.
Remember that Election Day is right around the corner and Kate Murray's only opponent, Kristen McElroy, will be at the Coliseum on Saturday. Come out and meet her, ask her questions or just be supportive.
We're fast approaching the end-game here. Let's see if we can get the result we're looking for.
