So today I went to Westbury for my daughter's softball practice armed with a tripod and my birthday present; the smallest orange video camera you could ever find. Now a video of just ME looking like Yoko Ono and yapping wildly would be silly, so I decided to invoke the assistance of Anthony Curatolo from www.thehockeyguys to help film perhaps the first hockey chat video of the season.
So here is the lightening round of Islanders chit-chat completely unedited (obviously) and unscripted (again, that goes without saying) video of Anthony and I and a bunch of basketball players in the parking lot of the PAL center in Westbury.
Also, today Andrew MacDonald was told to jump in his car and drive up to Boston to be with the team to replace Brendan Witt who has been given some time off for personal reasons. Not sure what those reasons are, but we wish him well.
Isles vs. Bruins tomorrow as the road trip continues. Look for me and the Matt Moulson army on Twitter tomorrow as we attempt to get #MightyMattMoulson to be an Islander fan trending topic. Hopefully that will cosmically prod him to score one or two for me.
