So this article on the IIHF website caused a real rift in the hockey world today. It seems that they feel that all players who have come up through their national systems have a debt to be paid to them forever. Sort of like endentured servants. But I tend to disagree with this writer who supposedly is just a PR guy.
Here is my $5 worth, because we know pennies ain't worth anything anymore.
It probably wouldn't have gotten under my skin until I noticed he mentioned Mark Streit. Then I had a hissy fit.
