Surprise Surprise! The New York Islanders didn't do anything with their pick other than use it. Even though Garth Snow was spotted chatting with NJ Devils GM Lou Lamoriello before the draft, nothing was made out of anything and the Isles walked to the podium to use their 5th pick.
