To the Polls 8/1/11 6 am - 9 pm

There is nothing else to say that hasn't already been said. Tomorrow the Nassau County residents get their chance to speak out with their vote.

It's Yes or No. But at least, we will know.

On the hockey front, while numerous outlets had believed that an additional trade for the Islanders was in the immediate future, it did not materialize while I was away. I had asked to be alerted by phone should anything happen -- nothing did.

All eyes are on the Vote. It's all hands on deck at the Islanders' office for this one. Then -- maybe then -- they'll make a move.
