Of course the Islanders release pre-season information while I'm driving and can't get to the computer. So -- you heard it here LAST everyone. But I have questions about the split squad stuff.
Nice to be able to put on my calendar the home opener for the 2010-2011 season as I circle Saturday, Oct 9th and reserve it for the first official day of Islander hockey. It's so far away, but at least it's something to look forward to.
Today I was asked to do a phone interview on Team 1040 Vancouver for the Blake Price show. I had never heard of him but they found me from HockeyBuzz. You know I have a hard time saying NO to anyone named Blake. I don't know how I did, I am too nervous to listen to the podcast. I do remember I told him I offered to feed Erik Gudbranson lasagna for a week to fatten him up. Hey... at least I didn't curse. I don't know if they had a 5 second delay or not.
And he mentioned my Lobster Fritters. BONUS!
