The Vote YES! Campaign Takes to the Air

What I do know is the politics around the Isles arena deal are heating up during these last few days. The Isles ads are hitting the radio waves and news print. Charles Wang did a 30 minute interview with FiOS One tonight and was on WPIX at 7:10 am. (I turned it on at 7:14 am and he was already closing his segment. I'm hoping the interview ends up on line.) Charles Wang and his staunchest opponent will be on WFAN with Boomer & Carton, separately of course.

On Tuesday, July 26th listen to the Mike Francesa show starting at 1 p.m. to hear Wang in-studio. Then on Friday, July 29, Boomer and Carton will host Wang at 8 a.m..

Fans and supporters can call the station at 877-337-6666 during either show.

For the journalistic take on this situation, Newsday's Randi Marshall will be hosting a live chat at Noon on Wednesday. I am not sure if she, like her co-worker Jim Baumbach, doesn't feel that Charles Wang is really at the end of his rope and that his threats to move the team after the 2015 lease expires are "empty" and just a scare tactic. I took that as Baumbach chanting "Liar, Liar, pants on fire."

But if anyone says they haven't had their questions answered just haven't looked in the right place.

Ty Wishart at the Team Store tonight and Matt Moulson at the rally and the Isles Meet-Up on August 3rd at Anthony's Wood Fired Pizza.

I'm voting for the pizza -- only because I can't Vote Yes in Nassau. But here's hoping YOU DO!
