Home Opener 1/19/13?

From the looks of things on Twitter and then confirmed by Art Staple, it seems that the NY Islanders home opener for this 2013 season will be on Saturday, January 19th against the New Jersey Devils. Game two will more than likely be Monday, Martin Luther King Day. Now, there is no confirmation of schedule as it is not supposed to be relased until the NHLPA has actually finalized their voting process which began at 8 pm tonight and ends at 8 am on Saturday morning. You know... because it takes 36 hours to vote yes or no on one question for 740 union members who all have access to computers. RIGHT.
