The year it took for Kevin Poulin's dislocated knee-cap to heal from surgery must have seemed like forever for him. The tall, thin, well-groomed young man would watch from the tunnel with other injured or benched players.
He looked like a well dressed accountant waiting for a meeting. He waited patiently to rehab and for his chance to take the net as the number one.
What he does with it is up to him -- and fate.
