You know it's going to be a bad day when I wake up at 6 am, fire up the Dell Vostro and have it give me the Blue Screen of DEATH!
Do you THINK I back up the articles I'm writing? Do you THINK I use the Crystal Memory my husband bought me for Christmas? Do you THINK I just take for granted that my trusty little 35 lbs of electronic hardware will always be there for me?

I am supremely screwed.
However, we are a multi-computer family, so getting on the net isn't my problem. Accessing the articles on the Islanders that I have been working on the last three days IS!!!!

Well... I'm off to the Broadway Mall to say hi to Justin DiBenedetto and the Wrecker and chat with a few fans that will be coming out to be the first NHL fans to get tickets for this season.
Then I'm off to IceWorks to see how the future Ice Girls are doing.
I'm wearing my Islanders track suit. Big Angry Man asked me, "What? Are you TRYING OUT for the Ice Girls?"
I told him "yes." (;-) ) "My skates are already in the car."
He gave me that, "I-really-can't-tell-if-you're-serious-or-not" look and I hesitated. "Don't worry, I don't think I fit the criteria." I told him.
"You're too old?" He said, figuring that would bother me.
"No. I don't have a figure skating background." I said.
I can't quite type the sound he made as he walked away from me. Oh well... at least I will be in air conditioning for most of the morning.

Who do we need to get in our corner to have Ice Girls abolished from the face of the earth?
I most have just missed you at the Joel and Justin signing. Most have been at least 60 people waiting for tickets and no line for the Guys. Joel and Justin signed everything we had, 2 of the best guys going by far.
