Oh this is so exasperating!
Everyone grab onto the Isles debt and relocation articles with both hands and hold on. It's going to be a wild off-season. (I tried to go in the opposite direction, but it's like trying to bail out a yacht with a champagne glass.)
The funny thing is there is only ONE person who knows what's happening with the Islanders and he's not saying anything.
So Daly had to publicly say that the League hasn't been asked to take over the Islanders and Wilpon gives Newsday an exclusive that he has had conversations with Charles Wang and the rep for Queens says "HELL YEAH!! WE'LL TAKE YOU!" and some media outlet in Canada says the Isles are changing their name to the NEW Winnepeg Jets and Kate Murray says "Yeah, I'll get around to you sometime over the summer after I look after my goat herd."
AGGGGAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!
More importantly: Game 7 Habs vs. Pens and history shall be made one way or another. Bruins vs. Flyers game 6 just as important to those of us wishing the Bruins would just end this madness and win.
My head hurts.

Why are you sneering at the Islanders talking to Mets as if it was a bad thing? If the two are talking, Wang is considering them to be fair partners unlike Kate Murray, Al D'Amato and Ed Mangano. It is your issue if you want the Islanders stay in Nassau County, not the Islanders.
