So while it is being reported that Mark Streit is out "indefinitely" and will require surgery, the other bad news is Kyle Okposo is still out and will also need to see someone about his shoulder.

Five players have been added to the training camp roster. Don't get excited. They are veteran bodies needed for the upcoming split squad games.
The Islanders youthful depth at D will be ultimately tested -- along with Scott Gordon's patience.
