It's always heartbreaking to watch a game that is tied at one end up lost in a shoot-out. This is why many media types and fans dislike the shoot-out even though it's exciting.
Two points could have left the building with the Islanders, but Dwayne Roloson who had faced 38 shots and only given up one goal could not stop Couture or Boyle while Parenteau and Nielsen were stopped by Nittymaki.
